It’s their partner, or friends or boss who has the problem with how this person is doing anger. That means a person will only change if they believe they have a problem or if they believe they are doing something that isn’t right. You can’t make someone change or convince them they have a problem so if you want someone to change the way they do anger just realise it’s up to them to decide if it’s worth changing or not.
Passive Aggressive Anger is when a person won’t tell you if you have pissed them off. They don’t stand up for themselves, they will bottle up their emotions and feel resentment. They will smile and be friendly enough but underneath all that niceness they are angry. The reason they won’t tell you about it or stand up for themselves is they don’t want to make things worse and they don’t like confrontation. Whereas Aggressive Anger is an explosion, Passive Aggressive Anger is an Implosion.
